I really wish I could know firsthand what it's like to live out there, surrounded by all that natural beauty. I suspect being a city slicker for as long as I have that I could never live in a very remote area, but maybe views like that could convince me...
These photos just take our breath away! They are stunningly beautiful! Oh we can feel it! We feel the cold, the quiet, the magnificent sky. We hear the breath of K and R! Ohh, thank you so much love tweedles
I use either snowshoes or cross-country skis on the snow. There is absolutely NO way that I could walk with just shoes. I tried it a little bit today and I was falling into the snow up to my hips.
Glad you liked the game. I thought I could hear some cheering from the Rockies, in between my husband's shouts of "GODDAMMIT!" and his claps and shouts of "YEAH!" It was a shame for the Heels to lose at home when they have to trudge to Dook for Senior Day.
I live at 8200' in the Front Range of Colorado. I love exploring nature in the mountains while riding my mountain bike and romping with my Labradors. Wildlife photography using trail cameras is another passion that I share here.

Nothin like licking snow off your nose. Stunning as always, the scenery and K.

It is so great to see all of the snow from your perspective and not the "city dwellers" who can only think about shoveling the stuff!!!
Now this is Colorado!!

Your deep snow tracks are great. Do you wear snow shoes or skis when you go out? The picture of K sitting with snow up to her shoulders is so cute.
