Mountain Sunsets - Home Sweet Home

Since we've been home from the desert, we've had a few gorgeous sunsets. They light up the sky both to the west and to the east.

To the west, we have the mountains behind which the sun sets.

To the east, we have smaller hills and plains. Notice how the aerial view shows the orange clouds reflected in a pond.

As the sunset wound down, the clouds to the east turned pink.
I love the beauty of our world!

  6. You are lucky to live in the mountains and still have full views of the skies. We have to drive to see the sunset, but we do appreciate the sunrise. Lovely photographs.

  7. Oh my goodness that is just gorgeous. You're in Colorado right?
We took a tour with a travel agent out of NC in June to Colorado and Utah. It was a very very busy 6 days but oh my goodness what beauty we saw. 5 National parks included and even a surprise visit to the Air Force Academy Chapel.
