Mama mountain lion and one kitten return from a hiatus

The mountain lion family disappeared from my trail cams from Nov - Jan 2, 2026. When they returned, only mom and the smallest kitten with the impaired gait remained. I don't know what happened to the other two kittens although it certainly is possible that they were old enough to go off on their own.

    What a great video. I hope the other kittens are okay and just have gone off on their own.

    That is one good mama (and one youngster with grit) - the kitten looks in amazingly good shape considering her wobbles. It's hard not to know what happened to her siblings; they did look old enough to head off on their own. Chris from Boise
