Mama mountain lion and one kitten return from a hiatus

The mountain lion family disappeared from my trail cams from Nov - Jan 2, 2026. When they returned, only mom and the smallest kitten with the impaired gait remained. I don't know what happened to the other two kittens although it certainly is possible that they were old enough to go off on their own.
