Thankful Thursday

I am thankful that Nature keeps showing us her beauty despite the difficulties of 2020. This was the last full moon of 2020.

I took this photo at dawn in a spot near Labrador Valley. It was cold, with wind sweeping off the Divide and the temperature around zero. It felt fresh, as if the world was clean and new. I love the area around Labrador Valley. Finding our new home was a good thing that happened this year.

I am thankful that 2020 included some good things. I hope that was true for all of you too.

  1. Several good things happened in the Gail and Bertie household in 2020, among them was the enjoyment provided by the wonderful photos and videos of wildlife and nature (and dogs of course) posted on this blog. In a year when travel was all but impossible, it's been particularly good to be able to visit other parts of the world in different ways!

  4. What an amazing picture of the full moon. We sure have enjoyed seeing all that nature has to offer from your corner of the world. Not much has changed for the animals you capture on your cams during this pandemic. They don't seem to notice what is effecting the human world much. Thanks for sharing with us this year and for years to come.

  10. What a gorgeous photo! At least we can count on nature to show us beauty every day if we are looking.
Yes, 2020 had more than it's share of bad parts, but definitely good as well! Opening my shop was my bright spot, and even feeling I succeeded under the circumstances!
Happy New Year to you and your family from me and Luke. ♥

  12. Beautiful! I've been fortunate as this year has definitely not been as horrid as it has been for so many. My family and I have not been directly touched by the virus, and while our time together has been more limited, we have been able to get together...so many haven't. I don't mind the staying home, it's meant I've spent less in many areas, which is a never a bad thing. I also got out walking more this year than ever and that's been an absolute joy.

Finding your blog with the insanely gorgeous photos and incredible videos has been a blessing too. Take care, stay well, and Happy New Year to you and all you love.
