That is the "Where is my treat"? look. Apparently you are about 3 minutes late in handing over the goodies. When a dog is treat deprived, it shows in the eyes first.

ReplyDeleteWhen I look at that beautiful eye...and oh the gorgeous colors framing her face...all I see is how clear and nearly allergy free it is...
Poor Hawk always has the matter discharging in the corner of his eyes. Ragweed season his eyes are impossible to keep clean.

According to this website the kittens stay with their mothers until the fall (or for 6-9 months), so it's possible that he headed out on his own then or soon afterwards.
