Me and My Girl

On our sunrise outing this morning...
Shyla was more fearful again today. This photo shows how she looks to me when she's worried - it feels like an honor to have a soul like hers trust me.

I can't fix everything that makes Shyla fearful but I do my best.

  2. Beautiful shot. We know that you will find the right way to calm Shyla. Maybe there is "weather" that is disturbing her?

  8. I just saw this video of Utah Division of Wildlife helping a mountain lion that was stuck in a bobcat snare. No one was harmed. Let's you see the power of a cat, as well as their fierce nature to protect themselves. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trapped-mountain-lion-utah_us_56e7b207e4b0860f99da3aaf

  15. Thanks to Judith for the link to a mountain lion being released from a leg hold trap. I cannot believe that those traps are still legal anywhere... but we've found them in Utah when we've been there (they're still legal in Utah).
