Sibling Sunday

As he recovers from surgery, R has to be tethered or crated at all times to prevent him from taking unauthorized gallops around the inside of the house. When we're home, we keep him tethered near us. We put our biggest dog bed in that spot when we realized where his sister wanted to be.
You can see the tether under Shyla's chin. Loyalty and love come so naturally to dogs.

  7. They do, don't they? I feel that every time I go to see Ava... She loves me even though she doesn't know me as a person. Or maybe dogs see things we don't.
Anyway, that line "unauthorised gallops around the house" made me laugh! It's a great mental image!
