I remember the morning almost two months ago that I took this photo. It was SO cold. My fingers froze. which was painful and made it very hard to pilot my flying camera. When the sun peeked over the eastern hills, I could barely feel its warmth.
But it was breathtakingly beautiful.
You might notice the flying saucer to the left of the sun. I did a double-take. Then, I realized that it was a lens aberration. That sure is a boring explanation compared to aliens!
Happy Nature Friday. We'll have springtime to share some day!!!
Thanks to the LLB Gang for hosting the Blog Hop.

What a glorious sunrise!
ReplyDeleteI think aliens might be scary, so we are glad it was not aliens! Very pretty sunrise.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pinks and purples...we don't know...aliens might be fun ;-)
ReplyDeleteGlorious colours for that special time. Is that your home below with a snow covered roof?
ReplyDeleteThe colors in this photo are so gorgeous! Yes, a flying saucer would have been fun though!! :)

What an incredible shot! Hope you're fingers are warming up now-it's 72 right now down in the city. Perfect temps by my standards. 😊
ReplyDeleteIt is gorgeous. Love the flying saucer.
ReplyDeleteOh boy, that looks mighty cold. I know you're going to get spring at some point. Awesome shot.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and weekend. Happy Easter. ♥
How I love the mountains, cold as they may be during the winter. Spring has arrived in the canyon, it's 78 degrees here today. All of a sudden, there it is! I hope yours will come soon too.
ReplyDeleteOh, I forgot to mention how much I like that gorgeous picture, you can feel the cold beauty of it.
ReplyDeleteThree days ago it was 30F when I went out in the morning, Today it rained and was 67F - a sauna. Spring will be unfurling at a rapid clip here after today, I think. Saw the first eft this evening :)
