The creek is freezing over fast. It is one of my favorite sights. I have to be there at the right time of day to see the reflected sun on the ice and water. Even with my fingers and toes freezing, it makes me happy.
Thanks for the warm welcome the other day. I hope to keep posting occasionally. My life has become much busier since my days of daily blogging but it is nice to post every now and then.
For those who are curious, Shyla is almost 13 years old, and she's doing well. She still loves to run. Hachi is such a joy for me and the Runner. His affection is overwhelming. He doesn't like strangers but we are fine with that. We are letting Hachi be Hachi.
Such a nice photo and thanks for the update on Shyla and Hachi, I was wondering.
ReplyDeleteVery interested in how the pack is doing - glad to hear all is well :)
ReplyDeleteShyla, she is a teenager now, and as for Hachi, you have given him everything in a loving home, and he will always be himself. Over in Vancouver Josh says the snow is getting quite low now.A blog post every day takes a lot of time and thought. So lovely to see updates of the doggies.
ReplyDeleteReally happy to see this latest picture. I was so hoping the post that appeared the other day wasn't going to be a one off!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Gail.
it looks like something magic... maybe we can make a wish?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo and thank you for letting us know about Shyla and Hachi. I think about them every now and again.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear Shayla and Hachi are doing well, and you are getting to spend time in the natural world you enjoy so much. Don't worry about posting often, we'll be here when you are.
ReplyDeleteWe love the creek with the sun color reflected in it. We're so happy to hear Shyla and Hatchi are doing well and so glad to have you back even if it is only occasionally.
ReplyDeleteLovely picture, happy to hear the dogs are well too!
ReplyDeleteI just came back after a rather long absence from blogging and I'm so happy to see this post from you. I think of you guys every now and then and wonder how you are doing. I'm happy to see all is well and with you, the runner and the dogs.
ReplyDeleteYour snow and ice are radiant. Thanks so much for the update on Shyla and Hachi. Scritches to both of them.

Thanks so much for the updates of Shyla and Hachi. It is so good to "hear" your voice. We always love seeing your photos. We are down to just Misty and Timber, having lost dear Lightning in April at a few weeks shy of 13.
