Shyla shocked me with her courage yesterday. She went into my Physical Therapy appointment, and she greeted the other patients like she was an experienced therapy dog, going over and resting her chin on their knees. I was the proudest human that you can imagine!
I'll tell you more details about her socialization progress in the near future!
In the meantime, enjoy the bright colors of a lichen that lives on boulders near us, captured with a wonderful macro lens loaned to me.
I hope that you're having a great weekend!
Hurray, Shayla! The lichen is breathtaking. I didn't know lichen could be orange.
ReplyDeleteFabulous!
ReplyDeleteWoo to the Biggest HOOOOOOO for Shyla. I bet you were just beaming KB. And what a stunning photo of the luchen. But it pales in comparison to amazing Shyla.

That lichen looks like it could be under the ocean somewhere. Hooray for Shyla, what a great social pup.
ReplyDeleteGreat news about Shyla! She has come so far! That was probably an awesome environment to help build her confidence, since the people in the waiting room would have mostly been seated (not nearly as scary as people who are upright and walking towards her rapidly). Those lichens are just stunning! I've never seen any so colorful!

I see you Shyla- peeking out!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful lichen! A piece of art from Mother Earth.
