  2. Hi KB, I think that it's Love that keeps you warm in these temps. Hubby was out in Loveland this morning and the temp was reading -19....brrr! Hope that you too went home and snuggled up after this.
    Stay warm friend.

  4. Aw, that third picture made me chuckle!
Personally, I am not missing the minus-x-degree days of January, and I hope there won't be another string of nights this month when frozen water pipes haunt my dreams.
Stay warm enough out there, you two!

  21. That's funny....when I saw your post title in my blog's sidebar, I wondered how you dress for days like -17....and when I got to your blog, there was a very rare selfie (hate that term) and a small glimpse of your clothes. Not nearly as bulky as I would have thought!

I posted about bundling up once and that was on a day that would feel warm to you...21 degrees....

  27. Curious to know how Shyla does without booties or a coat? I have a smallish black lab mix and he needs booties under 15 degrees or else he picks up his feet all the time with the loose snow. He loves the booties. He is 8 so I have started putting a coat on him when it goes under 5 degrees. We walk early in the morning and he does fine. It may be that Shyla is so energetic and running that she creates her own heat and stays warm. Whereas my pup and I are moving at a walking pace.

  28. Chilly!

As much as I complain that our lows of 32 are too cold - I know I'd be like you and totally go out in -17 weather too. That's just good stuff!
