Almost Wordless Wednesday: Columbines

Near our Crested Butte campsite, there was a talus slope that was covered in Columbines. I have never seen so many in one place as there.

  12. Aaaaaah, heavenly! I was just in Crested Butte on Tuesday for the race, but the flower we saw most of was fields and fields and fields of daisies. Not as picturesque as columbine, but in some areas, they were so thick, it looked like snow!
