While it will take years for trees to regain their foothold in the forest, the grasses and wildflowers will be spectacularly gorgeous. Nature tries hard to restore itself.
So very pretty. Mom didn't get out to Colorado this summer to visit the grandpeeps as her Dad has been doing poorly so she saved her time off for him. They ccan still talk and do skype and stuffs but she misses how pretty it is this time of year.

My very favorite is when the fireweed grow in a burned area.
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to see the flowers battle back to bring some beauty to the burned area. And oh yes, that dog sure is a Beauty!!!
ReplyDeletePreety indeed, especially sweet Shyla!
ReplyDeleteThat gives hope for all the land/forest lost this year!
ReplyDeleteIt's always amazing how nature recovers quickly from fires and storms...
ReplyDeleteSo sad when forests burn, but it is uplifting to know nature fights back.
