Our Duo has a very cushioned bed in our living room where Shyla often sleeps deeply as I go about my business. I love seeing her so content.
Then, she quietly wakes up. I see her eyes peeking over the edge of the bed, following my every move.
It melts my heart.
Does your dog or cat have habits that melt your heart?
yes, oh yes... I just said to Bob while we were doing our housework this morning, that each time I look at BB laying on the sofa sleeping it melts my heart. he does the same tracking with his eyes, staying comfy but tracking us. he is not afraid of the vac but we found out last night during a bad storm he is afraid of rain and thunder.
ReplyDeleteThat's one happy snoozy!

ReplyDeletewho couldn't? It would be a hard heart indeed... YAM xx
Nothing is better than seeing our pups truly happy and content. I love when Molly grabs her leash while we're out walking because she's happy and having fun.
ReplyDeleteShyla is so peaceful and I'm sure if I got very close she might be purring a wee bit.
ReplyDeleteMadi would often look up at me as I moved around too never once moving her hear just those gorgeous green eyes. My favorite sleeping photos of Madi were when she had her front paws tucked in and her resting on her
"wrist". And the purr.
Hugs to you 4 and extra hug to R

She looks so sweet! Luke likes to rest his chin on the back of our couch and look at us that same way. Yup, melts my heart every time.

We have a few of those heart melting moments a day. Shyla looks so sweet. No wonder you smile a lot.
ReplyDeleteShe would melt our hearts too. Each of the pups here has their sweet moments that make us smile and feel warm all over too.
ReplyDeleteWatching the sleeps pups in my house always elicits a smile. They curl up tight in a ball but if they're on the bed, they s.p.r.e.a.d. out like they own it. 😍
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet and those pictures are gorgeous. I always love Shyla's eyes. My favorite thing is how first thing in the morning--about 30 minutes before the alarm goes off--Rye comes up and curls up right behind my knees. She's done this since the very first night I had her. It's the one moment of the day when she's still and peaceful and snuggly. The rest of the time she's constantly moving, so I cherish those few minutes when I get to snuggle her.
ReplyDeleteDefinately so! Tweedles melts my heart every day!
