Shyla Saturday

Almost every morning, Shyla and I set out into nature around sunrise. Recently, the sunrises have been spectacular.

The spruces and pines lining Lab Valley make a jaggedly beautiful silhouette against the sky.

Shyla also makes a glorious silhouette.

I am so glad to have this sensitive and wonderful dog by my side.

Happy Shyla Saturday.

  1. Hari OM
Really, there some things that are just too beautiful for words! YAM xx

  2. Happy Shyla and happy blog post! That sky is absolutely stunning and I have a question the really tall trees do you know what they're called we have them here and I have one I want to put in a post and I can't find the name of it the pointy ones that get really really tall

    1. Our really tall ones are blue spruce. However, they specialize in growing in wet environments next to streams. I have no idea if they grow in your neck of the woods. Happy Saturday!

  3. Wonderful photos and a beautiful Shyla!

  4. Beautiful, both the sunrise and Shyla. Take care, stay well!

  5. That's the perfect way to start your day! ♥

  6. oh my goodness!
and love to you both in those glorious sunrises! XO

  7. Happy Shyla Saturday right back at ya'. The sunrise is beautiful, and so is Shyla.

  8. Shyla...darlin' please give mom a high five for the beautiful photos and as for you...OMDs what a pose at the end!!
    Hugs Cecilia

  9. Shyla is such a sweet dog. Lab Valley looks like a fairy tale place. The forest reminds me of Sweden, which is for a large part covered in forests like that.

  10. Those are stunning sunrise pictures! Shyla looks so happy to be by your side.

  11. Oh my goodness...spectacular seems like such an understatement.

  12. Beautiful sunrises, gorgeous photos, and of course, lovely Shyla!!!
