In a race, R has learned to use his wisdom to beat Shyla. He immediately cuts in front of her, and then blocks her from coming by. Despite Shyla's faster top speed, his technique works very frequently!
You can see it in this photo.
Shyla's big brother still knows some tricks that she doesn't know!
LOL! There's no substitute for experience!
ReplyDeleteShyla looks very surprised!
ReplyDeleteAh Yes,
ReplyDeleteSoon enough she will learn this trick and be blocking him in return.
Let's see who gets there first then. Shyla is smart enough to
figure it out.
It's fun to watch the competition, I bet you were laughing....
Have a FUN DAY.
xo Cinnamon
they're both in great shape!
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all!
ReplyDeleteOh too funny! The expressions!
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
My Jake also had a very subtle almost imperceptible swivel of his hip that kept his brother, Just Harry, in line. Gotta' love those street smarts!!!
ReplyDeleteJoan and Just Harry
You and I both know that we girls are smarter than the boys, don't we, Shyla. You're sweet for letting R win *wink wink*
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥
Molly
Haha, Nola does the same thing! That, or jumps over the other dog.

I bet she figures it out though. She's too smart to be out dine like that.
ReplyDeleteI don't like to see Shyla getting the best of R., but can certainly see it coming. Maybe he will come up with some new tricks, too!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Stella, Jo and Zkhat
Ha! Clever boyo!
ReplyDeleteOne of my Irish Wolfhounds would pretend to see something out the window, so the younger one would come over to see what was so interesting.
Thus leaving the big dog bed free...but not for long!
You sure are a smart boy R. When I'm chasing my brother I like to hang back and then cut off his route to catch up to him.
ReplyDeleteMillie

Wise R! Keeping Shyla on her toes!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! Sibling rivalry. It won't be long until Shyla figures out a way to get back at him.
ReplyDeleteI'd love for my granddog to run with your dogs. He would be most happy.
ReplyDeleteOh, aren't big brothers just the BEST!?!?

Margaret Thatcher
How fun they have. What a couple!
ReplyDeleteGreat capture
Sometimes I think we can learn more from our animals than they can learn from us. R's one smart dog!
