Perspective

The diagnosis is that my computer is probably kaput forever. So, I'll be struggling along with my iPad for a bit longer.

That seems like a relatively small hurdle when I contemplate the fact that today is the two year anniversary of K's death. Believe it or not, K died on the same day of the year as our previous Chocolate Labrador, Acadia. So, life has taught me that there are far bigger worries in life than a non-functional computer.

Thank goodness for our current Duo. Mr. Goofy...

  2. Beautiful pups :) I'll remember K today, too; time is growing short for my oldest (and first) dog, Josey - it's very hard :( I have three others, but there will never be another like her!

  3. Hi KB, You have such an amazing attitude and I'm thankful for you and your pack. I do think you need to get a new laptop; with all you do with your photos etc. you have to be able to post. Life keeps us going, even when we want to give up. Love your pups.

  5. Looking at R and Shyla, and memories of K, we have grey skies, and maybe a Rainbow for remembrance. Hugs, Jean p.s. maybe a laptop update will be needed so soon.

  6. R is gorgeous. That sucks your computer isn't fixable. I am so sorry for the loss of K and Acadia. :(

  7. We hope that somehow your find in your heart not overwhelming loss but the timelessness of family grown in richness.

  8. My heart goes out to you for K. Sweet Sammy is getting towards the end, too. Kaitlin and Torben already lost Sammy's sister Banshee a few years ago. It's hard.

  15. I can't help but marvel in how far Shyla has come since you got her... I'm so glad you have her to help you through the tough parts.

So sorry to hear about your computer, too. We had that problem two years ago, and oh, was it painful! Still getting used to the new computer...

  16. Sorry about your computer. I hope you had it well backed up.

Also sympathies for the sad anniversary of K's death. It is a sad one for me as well. We sent out sweet Dylan to the bridge on July 15th, 11 years ago. It still hurts to think of that.

  17. Love the slobber photo and the piece of leaf (?). A non-functional computer is frustrating but as you say, life makes you put it in perspective. We know all about that after the year we have had.

I hope your new computer does NOT come with Windows 8 or 8.1. Its truly gruesome to me. But you are much smarter, maybe you can figure it out!
