A Glorious Rainbow

When Shyla and I arrived atop Hug Hill during our mountain bike ride this morning, we were met by the most amazing sight - a rainbow stretching across where we can usually see the mountains.

Because we were high on the peak, the rainbow actually appeared to be below us!

I've been riding my mountain bike to Hug Hill most mornings for a long time, and this was the first rainbow I've ever seen to the west of the hill. We had lots of fun getting photos with the rainbow in them!

This is Shyla's "usual perch" atop Hug Hill, except that the mountains usually appear behind her.

What a glorious sight!
It made for a very special start to our Labor Day!

  2. Wow! That's stunning! <3

Whenever I see rainbows I sort of believe that it's my pets who are waiting for me there saying hi.
