Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for the beauty of Mother Nature.

I am thankful for the slices of history in our world. This is an old mining cabin, probably close to 100 years old. Can you imagine living in that cabin way back in the early 1900's?

I am thankful for my pack. Where ever they are located is my home. Do you see our LabMobile in this photo? It was almost engulfed in shadow. I call the LabMobile "home" while we are camping.

 I am thankful for peace.

What are you thankful for?

  5. i want to sit in the crotch of that tree in the 2nd shot.. and I LOVE the last one so much. you are right, where ever we are with our dog is home... to me it is not the home but the people. I would not have liked living in that cabin. i love the cabin but would want mine on a creek bank under shade trees. it is stunning to see those red hills but not to live in for me. Happy thanksgiving, enjoy your first Holiday in your lab valley

  12. Gorgeous colours in every photo, the silhouette shows us the mightyness of nature, and a cabin of years ago, hardy people who craved out a living in such hard circumstances,. no power, no running water, miles away from what we all take for granted , it brings me right down to earth. So many thanks for you on Thanksgiving, as you share nature's beauty with us all.
