After a long day, the dogs sizzled with enthusiasm on our evening hike.
They sprinted away with a stick, so fast that I thought they were about to disappear over the horizon.
But, they sprinted back just as fast when I called them. The only problem was that they didn't know what to do with the stick when they arrived!
I hope that the video makes you smile like I did!
YEP!
ReplyDeleteSmiling here!
Ah!! To share a stickie. Sweet smiles here too!
ReplyDeleteHugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,
Sierra Rose
Me, too. But I have a little trouble visualizing them turning around with stick in both mouths, traveling fast! I need a better picture of this feat!
ReplyDeleteCheers and hugs,
Jo and Stella
That's awesome! How do they manage to run around with the same stick?
ReplyDeleteThat is adorable. Big smile here. I love their enthusiasm in everything that they do!
ReplyDeleteBrilliantastic!!
ReplyDeleteDouble Dog Donut Recall at its finest!

Loved it - but after Sola's stick incident I still cringe!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great video to start the day with.
ReplyDeletethat's wonderful! and yes i smiled!!

I loved the video. Our dogs often "share" the same stick as well. Next time I'm going to recall them and see what happens. Too funny.
ReplyDeleteToo much fun! I'm always inspired by the training you put into your dogs. They're even up for the stick sharing/double recall challenge. Well done, pups!
ReplyDeleteHa! I have a border collie who recalls like nobody's business. When I played your little video she heard you yell "Dogs Come" and came running through the dog door.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great recall!!! Loved the stick sharing.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
I think you might be on to something, KB, with your comparison to K when she's nervous, jumping all over people. Marge definitely uses that when she's nervous - I'm thinking of the vet, for example. Maybe she does similar with visitors in the house and I was too enamored with her friendly behavior to realize. Hmm!
ReplyDeleteHUGE smile! love the recall with the stick in their mouth.... oops, you had to say "come" 2x? WHAT? time for the SKILLET! booowhahaha! i only need to say it like 27 times for my sibe. hey, at least she comes! LOL!
ReplyDeletegreat vid! love it!
The 2-dogs-1-stick thing always makes me laugh. I love the speed of the retreat and return. Thanks for the grin.
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful video dear friends!!!!
You look sooo happy running all around together sharing your stick!!!!
And you run soo fast!!!!
We used to share sticks between us but we would like to share our sticks with you guys!!!!!
Have fun!!!
Sweet kisses and licks!!!
We started cracking up as soon as you started to chuckle!
ReplyDeleteTwink!
I know the stick enthusiasm well. But it looks even more fun with two!
ReplyDeleteA couple of you asked how the dog did the U-turn while both of them still hung onto the stick... I don't know. I just so happened to have the video recorder going when I seriously thought that the dogs might run all the way Kansas before stopping. So, my recall was pretty loud, and I couldn't even see them when they turned. But, they turned, and that's what's important.
ReplyDeleteGlad others smiled and chuckled from it too!
How fun - they look so happy to be running and their fast return was amazing!
