K contemplates

Amazing caterpillar (Does anyone know what kind it is?)

Prince's Pine

Regal and healthy K!

Not so regal!

Storms at sunset

  1. Hi Y'all!

    How's R doing?

Don't know the caterpillar. He looks more like a kid's toy than a real living thing.

Fantastic shot of the caterpillar and the silhouette of the hummer is gorgeous. Would love to see the princess pine in person.

Did you get your new internet installed today?

    Y'all come by now,
    Hawk aka BrownDog

  2. That caterpillar is psychedelic (don't mind me, I'm getting so charged about protesting again that I'm reverting to '60's vocabulary)! K looks great.

  3. that catapillar is so cool
    Benny & Lily

  4. Not so regal but dey do looks very happy!

    Woofs and Licks,
    Maggie Mae

  5. Beautiful pictures!! The closeup of the caterpillar is idea what kind it is though! Lots of love, Debbie & Holly

  6. A standing ovation!! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!!

  7. Are you sure you didn't paint that last photo? It is so beautiful.

K looks great and I love the not so regal pic of K and R:)

I don't know the name of that caterpillar, but it sure looks a lot like the ones that completely ate my beautiful penta flowers one year:(

  8. Amazing photos!!! (As usual!) How is R? That is quite the close-up of the caterpillar - you must use some great lens (the shutterbug in me!) Happy Wednesday!

  9. I don't know what kind of caterpillar that is, but I love that bright, green color! I'm not sure I've seen a hummingbird perched before. It seems they're usually on the move. It's so good to see a healthy, happy K!!

  10. I have no idea what kind of caterpillar that is, but it is BEAUTIFUL. Almost looks magical like something out of Alice in Wonderland!

I absolutely love that picture of K and R together - so adorable!

    Your pal, Pip

  11. These pictures made me smile:)
I have no idea what type of caterpillar that is but he sure is cute!

  12. All the shots are fantastic, but that one of the storm coming in is just amazing! What a great capture!

It's good to see K looking so much better! Hopefully R's tummy troubles are behind him.

Welcome back to the internet! ;)

  13. As usual your photos captivate and delight! Glad to see both pups so happy.

  14. Love that picture of the hummer in the tree! Simply awesome. And the storm at sunset.

This question may sound rather obvious, but do you get a lot of rain in the mountains during the summer? I never really thought about it, except that many of your photos have storms rolling in and out. I never really questioned the ones in the winter, that seems obvious, but I never really thought about summer. Just curious. :)

K looks beautiful. Again, so glad she is feeling better.

  15. Great pics as always. The last one is super beautiful!

    New internet connection?

    Hugs all around,

    Stella and Mom

    My word verification is

    stacalm (I'll do my best!)

  16. Great pictures, and around here that would be called a tomato worm and it can do a lot of damage to a plant in a short amount of time.

  17. Does this are up and running with anew internet connection....sure looks like it!? I had a hummer come up near me 3 times lately and every time...where is my camera? So disappointing...oh well...I'll just have to remember the moments. Lovely shots.
PS re: Sophie's tail is a rudder for sure...!

  18. Hello!! Great pictures as always! I looked up your caterpillar in my book and couldn't find it--But my guess is that it's some kind of a moth...

  19. I, too, think that caterpillar is dangerous if you have tomato plants, but what a wonderful photo of a nasty dude! All these photos are great, but I'm especially loving the perched hummer, because, as others have said, they don't sit long, and the dogs, looking happy and ready to romp!

  20. Hi KB
I looked up the caterpillar on the computer, but could not decide. I saw one that looked almost like it. It had a smile on its face.
K and R are looking so fantastic!!!
And the sweet humming bird.. what a great photo!
I love the photo of the storms,, so beautious

  21. What clarity on the Caterpillar and the Pine Drop! Lovely.

  22. I was already smiling thanks to the great pics -

Of course, my smile got even wider when I saw that pic of R The Goof-a-dork!
