Amazing photos!!! (As usual!) How is R? That is quite the close-up of the caterpillar - you must use some great lens (the shutterbug in me!) Happy Wednesday!
I don't know what kind of caterpillar that is, but I love that bright, green color! I'm not sure I've seen a hummingbird perched before. It seems they're usually on the move. It's so good to see a healthy, happy K!!
Love that picture of the hummer in the tree! Simply awesome. And the storm at sunset.
This question may sound rather obvious, but do you get a lot of rain in the mountains during the summer? I never really thought about it, except that many of your photos have storms rolling in and out. I never really questioned the ones in the winter, that seems obvious, but I never really thought about summer. Just curious. :)
K looks beautiful. Again, so glad she is feeling better.
Does this mean...you are up and running with anew internet connection....sure looks like it!? I had a hummer come up near me 3 times lately and every time...where is my camera? So disappointing...oh well...I'll just have to remember the moments. Lovely shots. PS re: Sophie's tail is a rudder for sure...!
I, too, think that caterpillar is dangerous if you have tomato plants, but what a wonderful photo of a nasty dude! All these photos are great, but I'm especially loving the perched hummer, because, as others have said, they don't sit long, and the dogs, looking happy and ready to romp!
Hi KB I looked up the caterpillar on the computer, but could not decide. I saw one that looked almost like it. It had a smile on its face. K and R are looking so fantastic!!! And the sweet humming bird.. what a great photo! I love the photo of the storms,, so beautious love tweedles

Hi Y'all!
ReplyDeleteHow's R doing?
Don't know the caterpillar. He looks more like a kid's toy than a real living thing.
Fantastic shot of the caterpillar and the silhouette of the hummer is gorgeous. Would love to see the princess pine in person.
Did you get your new internet installed today?
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
That caterpillar is psychedelic (don't mind me, I'm getting so charged about protesting again that I'm reverting to '60's vocabulary)! K looks great.

I don't know the name of that caterpillar, but it sure looks a lot like the ones that completely ate my beautiful penta flowers one year:(

Great pictures, and around here that would be called a tomato worm and it can do a lot of damage to a plant in a short amount of time.

Hello!! Great pictures as always! I looked up your caterpillar in my book and couldn't find it--But my guess is that it's some kind of a moth...
