Dog Kisses and Play

We seem to have caught the endless flu. We might be improving... but each of us has said that at least once before. The dogs are a comfort, from snuggling to entertaining us with their play.

I saw them lying in a sun puddle together and then starting to interact. Camera time! They are such good friends, as these photos show.




R decided that he wanted to play... and pawed Shyla to tell her.


A raucous game of wrestling and chase followed. I couldn't keep up.

    I keep trying to tell my husband that Millie wants a brother for Christmas, but he isn't ready for two again yet. What a great series of pictures. I'm so glad that they get along so well.

    In my household we call that game "suck face" haha...Ziggy so badly wants to do with Addie (when we visited my parents during Thanksgiving), but at the time she was just too little. By the time he sees her at 12 weeks she might be big enough to "get it" :) Feel better!

    Stunning photos! The dark background highlights R and Shyla as they interact. KB...you have the magic touch when it comes to capturing the moment! Love seeing them together and almost feels like we are peeking in on them as they share private moments together. Absolutely beautiful!

    Oh so sweet to see such love between the two of them. Hope you are improving. Did you get a prescription for Tamiflu? It seems to reduce the severity. Hope you soon feel as good as the Labs.

    I love these shots and I am so envious that you could get something that great while you're so sick! lol The pictures tell such a sweet story and really capture both of them beautifully. Shyla looks so dainty and petite next to R in these shots!

    Well, if you've got to be sick at least you have these two precious beauties to watch. Love R's paw action. So cute! I find ginger tea with honey and lemon really helps knock out a cold or flu. :)

    Mommy said going down the list of blog's this morning, "I can finally stop crying as so many are doing "See Beautiful" to help out Goose and St. Anne's and all of them are making me cry." Well guess again....

    She took one look at your pictures and the flood gates are opened once again!

    We somehow better figure out how to buy some stock in Kleenex!

    Awww, look at that paw to the head move. It is so nice to have a dog in our lives, but it is also wonderful to see the bond between one dog and his packmate. So sweet.

    It is so wonderful how R loves Shayla now. I love finding spots of light to work with when photographing but often it peaks out for just a second so I must snap quick!
