Beauty

Thank you for all your warm wishes. I am taking it easy.

I wanted to show you two beautiful things that I saw before the big snowstorm. A bunch of vibrant and gorgeous flowers had started to bloom all over our neck of the woods (Fleabane Daisies, Erigeron compositus).

I think they'll survive the storm - they go through this kind of spring snowstorm every year!
The second beautiful sight was my sweet Shyla. We've had lots of snuggle time together.
I hope that your days have been beautiful and peaceful.

  3. I wish Piper was a snuggler! She's a constant poker, with at least 8 elbows, and is always sure she can get just a leeeetle bit closer if she tries hard enough.

  7. I wish I have a snuggler like Shyla. My June doesn't snuggle.
Spring snowstorm, that's something we will get here but so far we have been lucky.
    Take care.

  8. Flowers in Spring, and Shyla for company, I hope every day you re improving, taking life slowly and very quietly, and resting up, if that will help in any way. Much love, and all warmest thoughts coming your way for a pain-fee day very soon. Hugs, Jean

  15. Good to hear you are taking it easy, hard as we know that may be. But you can't go wrong when you get to snuggle with that beauty:)

  16. This evening was a slightly rainy spring one, and we took time to smell the beauty. Reconnecting with nature so helps one's balance, doesn't it?

  17. Was thinking about you. I can't believe you already have Fleabane. I'm back in Breck and there is so much snow. I tell myself that maybe this year the Calypso Orchids will bloom late and lush because they'll be covered for so long. Take care of yourself.

  19. The snow storms in May are tedious, aren't they - but it is so lovely to see flowers again :-) We also had a weekend of electric storms and weird weather that is making mobility a challenge and headaches a given. Yeah for Labs and flowers, both of which make the other stuff bearable!
