It was intensely sunny while we visited the desert. The dogs often just shut their eyes to keep the sun out, leading to lots of photos like this one!
So, I loaned them some old sunglasses.

And, her partner, Secret Agent R!
Not only was the sun bright during the day but the moonlight was intense at night. The cliff in the next photo was lit by the half moon that was setting behind my camera. I love how time lapse photography shows how the stars spin around Polaris, making beautiful art in the sky.
