Flying Black Dog Sunday

When you get our Black Dog around water, he emits puppy-like high pitched barks, he trembles with excitement, and he launches himself into the air at the sight of any objects thrown into the water.

After all these years, he is still an extraordinary leaper.

Yes, this next photo is still from the same leap. That boy gets serious hang time!

His sister photo bombed in the next photo as R was completely focused on a tennis ball that had just landed in the water.
One of my favorite things about summer and fall is being able to take the Labraduo swimming. I think that I can confidently say that they love it too!

  5. The last photo, such determination, and his ears, I have to smile too. So glad they both love the water and you can be there closer to home, a huge bonus.

  9. I miss taking dogs swimming! Our Lab mix Maggie absolutely loved swimming, and she was super fast. That was before my days of blogging so I don't have many photos and zero videos of her doing what she loved. I do at least have some of our golden Sheba who was a close second for loving the water. :)
