I am thankful for springtime, finally! Lab Valley is finally adorned with green leaves and green grass!
The meadow birds search for insects just outside our windows every morning.
Deep in the pine forests, orchids are flourishing.
At this time of year, there are not enough hours in the day. Between working on the house, trying to empty the moving boxes (but needing more cabinets in order to do that!), gardening, exploring, and simply enjoying the sunshine, I cannot find time for everything!
I love springtime!
oooh this is like magic...
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring! The colors are so beautiful. Enjoy!
ReplyDeletethe snow is gone, blue birds sing on, the sky is blue and the birds are too. i don't envy you the unpacking and putting away
ReplyDeleteYour valley looks so beautiful in its spring green. Those orchids are so pretty too.
ReplyDeleteWow - spectacular photos! Springtime in Lab Valley, when you have a spare second to catch your breath and enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteLast week, on a high-elevation hike with the dogs, I spotted two mountain bluebirds fussing around a cavity in an old snag. Got my binocs up to my eyes just in time to see a red squirrel disappear into the hole. It's early enough in the season that I hope it was just out-competing the bluebirds for the nest site, but it may have gone in to eat eggs or nestlings. Sigh - life in the wild.
