Black Dog Sunday

Memories of our Labraduo racing through the snow make me smile. I always felt so lucky when I could have both Labs playing with me in the snow.

Our Black Dog was intense. Despite his almost blind single eye and elbow replacement, he raced his sister as if a gold medal was on the line. His intensity was inspirational to all of us. He lived his life by the motto, "Don't ever give up".

He never did. Never ever.

  1. Don't ever give up. I think that's Bertie's motto too - deaf and fifteen months into his bladder cancer diagnosis, he still seems to be finding plenty to enjoy in life.

  2. They make winter look like fun!

  3. they always made me and still do make me feel joy seeing them together and their joy with each other

  4. Black Dog certainly had lots of lessons for us to learn. What a wonderful photo of the two happy pups!

  5. He can teach us all so much, and " Never Ever" must have been his motto for life . Beautiful memory in that photo, love them together.

  6. R was such a sweet inspiration to all of us.

  7. What a fun picture of R and Shyla. We hope we get some snow to romp in soon.
