In terms of training, it's been an uneventful week for Hachi. We had to hold off on some kinds of training because his muzzle is causing a scrape on his chin. We now have lots of moleskin lining the muzzle but his chin must fully heal before we can go back to the muzzle.
We had a weekend full of holiday visitors. He did great on Saturday even though the visitors were inside the house while Hachi was relaxing on a different floor. But, on Sunday, he had a rougher time even though the visitors didn't come in the house. He broke out of his favorite soft crate because he was anxious. Then, he got an upset tummy after everyone departed. I sure hope that it turns out to be minor. Last year, he got horrific hemorrhagic diarrhea after a lot of stress. My fingers are crossed that he bounces right back this time.
we hope the tummy heals and you will feel better dear Hachi... and your chin too.... all da best dear friend...

ReplyDeleteMind you, I think there are a few humans who react to too many visitors as well - here's hoping it was just a temporary hiccup, Hachi! YAM xx
Hachi I'm not too fond of hoards of people in small places either.
ReplyDeleteI hope this week goes week with your tummy and your chin
Hugs Cecilia
We're keeping our paws crossed that Hachi's tummy troubles go away quickly.

ReplyDeleteWe really hope Hachi is feeling calm and relaxed soon and that his tummy doesn't get too upset. Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteHopefully his chin heals quickly and his tummy is back to normal soon. Poor boy. Company is stressful for lots of people too.
ReplyDeleteI hope his chin heals quickly and he doesn't have a bad tummy for long. He's so handsome.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week. Scritches to the pups. ♥
Hachi, your look says it all" Why do we have Christmas". You do not want to have an upset tummy at this time of the year.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a sweetie guy with such a sweet face. We hope all settles down too.
ReplyDeleteHe has the most unusual eyes. We would love to be able to read what is going on inside his head. The pups here like company but if it lasts a few days, they seem very happy when life gets back to normal.
ReplyDeleteWe hope his upset tummy passes quickly
ReplyDeleteSuch a bummer for the poor guy. We all love people so much, it's hard to imagine a dog not liking people or being fearful of them, but we see it all the time.
ReplyDeleteThe holidays with their hustle/bustle social scene is rough on dogs like Hachi. Hopefully he'll bounce back and be right as rain quickly. 🤞🏼
