During the insanity of the past few days, we had a snow storm. Although it made the driving slippery, our world was thankful. It was a big storm by the standards of this paltry snow year. It made Shyla very happy.
Whee! She flew!
It's been cold and finally time to have fires in the fireplace insert. I love the reflections in the glass.
Yesterday was our rest day from family stuff. We are truly exhausted.
Sweet Shyla sure is having fun!
ReplyDeletethere is nothing so beautiful as Shyla In Flight... love those reflections
ReplyDeleteI'll bet you're glad for the snow. Shyla looks like she is.

ReplyDeleteThere is just something special about proper flames... an ease to all things. YAM xx
Snow is fun but so is relaxing by the fire :)
ReplyDeleteflying free, Shyla does love that snow, and I hope you can sit by that fire and get some peaceful moments.
ReplyDeleteShyla loves her life, there's no doubt about that. I took a few days off from my computer, so I missed things. I didn't know about your dad's heart attack. I'm so sorry, that must have been scary for you and your family, but glad he is doing better. I also would have missed the incredible video of the mountain lions. That was so interesting and so beautiful to watch.
ReplyDeleteMy snow is all gone. You are a lucky girl, Shyla!
ReplyDeleteCan see how much Shyla is enjoying that snow.
ReplyDeleteWe can imagine how tired you must be. Stressful times are very exhausting. But time by that beautiful fire must be relaxing.
ReplyDeleteHope you got some good rest. Ironic that you got some nice snow while much of ours is now washed away by rain!!
ReplyDeleteJan, Wag 'n Woof Pets
Hope you got some relaxation by that warm fire

My Gramma had a period of about a year where she was in and out of the hospital with heart issues. It was very taxing on my mom, so we totally get it. We had a great snowstorm on Monday and have been enjoying the foot or so of white stuff ever since.
ReplyDeleteThe poodles enjoyed romping in the snow too. Now we're in the melt/freeze season-the one I don't enjoy. Enjoy your cozy fire and rest.
