We have very high winds too, cold nights and spring-like days. Almost no precipitation since our epic snow after Christmas.
I watched your bear video and really enjoyed it. I haven't seen a bear around here since about 2012. I'm also missing many other animals that used to come by. The effect of the dry weather is both sad and scary.

that second shot is AMAZING!! love it.. brutally cold is what the others look like, also really beautiful
ReplyDeleteIt's almost snowing again as the wind blows the snow off the trees. What a beautiful and brutal day all in one.
ReplyDeleteWe are having a very breezy day here too, Shyla, but we don't have the beautiful snow that you have.
ReplyDeleteYou sure capture the winter. Your pups are adorable and your photography is topnotch.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. Scritches to the pups. ♥
Wind and snow can really be brutal!
ReplyDeleteWOW! So beautiful - and so powerful!

Love that second photo!
ReplyDeleteWe've had brutal winds and squalls, too. It's about the only thing that keeps us inside! Shyla seems oblivious to it.
ReplyDeleteBrrrrrr! It's been windy here on the West Coast too...Here's to hoping Winter doesn't linger too much longer!

OMDogs that makes my temperature drop just looking at it.
ReplyDeleteBUt as you said it is certainly gorgeous.

That could be frightening I would think with the snow blowing so hard. It must make it difficult to see where you're going.
ReplyDeleteBrrrrr! Shyla looks like she is having a blast!
ReplyDeleteWe have had a few nice days here. But we are sure there will be some more wintry days to come. Nothing like yours - that last photo says it all!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is good you know how to read the signs
ReplyDeleteIt must be very hard to see where you are going in that. You wrote this post, so I am assured you made it home safely. That first picture is amazing.
ReplyDeleteThe wind has been brutal lately. I know it's part of nature to transmit seeds etc. but could sure use a little less of it right now.
ReplyDeleteSnowy days can be so peaceful....until that wind picks up! We hope you weren't too far from home! :)
