And those gorgeous flowers are?
They are called "Paintbrush". A closely related flower blooms up in the mountains near our house but it's not quite as brilliant as these are.
Paintbrush , a bright red flower blooming where you would think any plant would find it hard to survive , love the setting. Beautiful.
