Sunday Wildlife Sighting

I took these photos with a incredible telephoto lens that a generous person has loaned to me. The coyote didn't notice me as I snapped photos until I clumsily bumped something, making a noise. I am awed by how handsome he is.

What a magnificent creature.

  4. Wonderful, wonderful! Just a joy to see these photos of a coyote. My favorite nickname is the Trickster because the more man tries to get rid of them, the stronger and more prevalent they become!

    Cheers,

  11. Oh my gosh, I don't usually read blogs on Sunday night, but I am so HAPPY I did. I'm fascinated by coyotes though I've certainly never been this close to one. Just beautiful - I can his coat is very thick for winter.

  24. Wow, he's so beautiful! We've never seen one like that; so up close and personal. I guess that's a good thing. We do have them in our back yard in NY every now and then. Don't want to tangle with those teeth.

Nice job with the loaned lens.
