A leap involves a powerful takeoff.
Then it requires the ability to fly.
Finally, a successful leap needs a strong landing.
Shyla astounds me almost daily with her incredible athletic prowess. However, I have to admit that it scares me a little when I see her leaps in photos. I think that I'll try even harder to keep her away from ideal launching pads like this one so that she doesn't hurt herself on landing!
She's also very good at snoozing, especially when she's snuggled up with her brother.
AWWWWWWW too the snoozing picture. Shyla needs a cape as she looks like a superhero!
ReplyDeleteI#m good at snoozing too... and to do it with a beloved brother is THE BEST!
ReplyDeleteLandings make me so nervous. I jumped horses for years; you'd think I'd be over it! But no. Shyla does look very clever and graceful!
ReplyDeleteWow that looks fun Shyla. You really know those woods. The last picture rocks!

We're sure leaping is fun, but with one injured leg in the family, maybe she should take it easy.
ReplyDeleteTotally love your photo's. Your captures and subjects are simply stunning. Truly beautiful images.

How do you get such amazing action shots!!! Shyla sure can leap and land well. That photo of the Dynamic Duo together is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. Sometimes when Luke leaps up after the ball, I'm holding my breath as he's landing!
ReplyDeleteThe snooze photo is so precious!

How sweet the way they snuggle together! Amazing air photos of the leaping.
ReplyDeleteShyla is just totally graceful but I know what you mean about not-so good landings. I saw a photo today of a dog "catching" snow and it looked as if she'd land flat on her back, but she let her four feet win that one! Jo and Stella
ReplyDeleteThat snuggle pose is waay too adorable. Who knew dogs could be like flying squirrels and bosom bed buddies in the same day?
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwww :)
ReplyDeleteLove these photos!!
