Shyla Saturday

Shyla's heart soars when she sees water. All remnants of the shy and retiring dog who we first met disappear. She wants to fly through the air, land in the water, and swim!

Nothing makes me smile like seeing Shyla burst out of her shell in a haze of joy. She is so happy when she's swimming and retrieving. Look at her eyes!
This girl has taught me more about courage than any dog.

  2. Such a cutie! I'm guessing you don't have the killer algae problem that we're having over this way.

  8. It is plain to see that she loves the water...and the ball, as well.

  9. That is one happy dog! Our Sheba was like that too, and before her, our Lab mix Maggie. Both took so naturally to the water. I miss taking dogs swimming and seeing their joy. Luke was pretty timid of it once he didn't have Sheba to go with. :(
