Thankful Thursday

We get but one walk on this Earth.

My heart is aching. My father's walk is winding toward its end.

What am I thankful for? His life and the life that he gave me.

  3. When my Dad was nearing the end of his time with us, I so wish now that I had talked more, told him how much I valued my childhood, was so loved, felt safe every day, the way he taught me to ride a bike, and a horse, drive a tractor,. get my driving license, and more. Value and cherish every day KB, I am not sure how far away he lives, distances in US are so great compared with us in NZ,a phone call if possible, just to hear his voice and he yours, and know how we share your grief that this will happen.Much love to you, and the doggies too.
