A bull moose and a bull elk meet face to face!

It is rare to see two different species meet face to face. At a junction of two valleys near our house, a bull moose was walking downhill on a path when he met a bull elk who was coming up the path. There wasn't enough room for them to pass. What do you think happened?

Check out the video!

  2. It's so fun to see all the animals on the trail just cruising by. It is obviously a popular trail for them

  3. Wow! I was shocked that the Moose just wondered a way I'm glad they didn't fight I didn't want to see that. Now if it was moose the moose or else out they would probably fight right? I saw the coyote I don't know if you saw the post where Bo and I saw a coyote running down our street on our walk a few days ago

  5. We too were sure the moose would win that standoff, but we guess he just wasn't in the mood to pick a fight that day.

  8. Interesting. I had assumed the elk would accede to the moose since it is bigger, but I was wrong. What great footage again. Thanks for sharing.
