Tiny, the Black Bear, Celebrates Springtime!

Many of you know how I adore seeing Tiny the black bear. Recently, Shyla and I took a hike to check some of my cams in Tiny's territory. I was overjoyed to see that he is active and looking good! He's the only bear who my cams have seen yet. For years, he's always been the first bear to appear on my cams in springtime!

He still has that chronic hind limb injury that requires him to sit while marking trees. It looks no worse than in recent years so that's good news. He's an inspiration!

Check out the video and help me celebrate the start of springtime!

  6. Tiny, the one who celebrates the arrival of spring again this season. He looks well, and very well nourished over the winter hibernation. His hind leg injury , I though he wasn't limping as much as previously, maybe all that thick winter coat hides it to some extent.

I wonder how much he weighs. Or is it rude to ask!
