Shooting Star

It's not easy when you come after a heart dog but Shyla is becoming a part of my heart too.
The next photo is from our Utah vacation, taken near Capitol Reef National Park and Escalante National Monument, on the flank of Boulder Mountain.
To make this photo, I set up my camera to take repeated exposures over about 3.5 hours on May 13. While I slept, K came to visit, in the form of a very intense shooting star.

Now, we all get to make wishes, having seen that star! I hope that yours comes true. Mine is coming true, in the form of the wonderful girl in that first photo.

  13. I think a heart dog always makes sure to leave room for the dogs that follow. That's part of what makes them so special.
