Winter Wonderland with Moose Ambling Through

One day this winter, we woke up to the entire forest being covered in snow.

It seemed as if every tree had been transformed.

Nearby, a group of moose were moving through the forest. They were gloriously beautiful. (trail cam photo)

A big rack in silhouette...

His buddy appears while another moose talked to them from the left of the image.

Such winter beauty seemed perfect to share on Christmas Eve. If you have time, check out the very short video of this small group passing my cam.

  14. Years ago, we used to see moose a lot, now we haven't in a long time. I would love to see one go through our yard! However, the ticks movement north is decimating our population. It's so sad, and I'm pretty sure due to climate change; it used to be that ticks couldn't survive a NH winter. :(
