Leaping into the Weekend

The battles continue with my spine, and I'm hurting today. My cervical vertebrae have been the ever-escalating culprits for the past 6 weeks or so. I'm just hoping, with all my being, that I can finally get rid of this excruciating arm pain with some physical therapy. As many of you know, I've had multiple spine surgeries, and I'd like to avoid more for as long as I can! So, I saw my doc today, and I'll see my PT soon. In the meantime, I'll keep on moving, like I always do. It make me happy and quells the pain, at least for a while.

I'm sure that everyone is looking forward to this long weekend, and Shyla wants to help you leap into it!

Isn't she an amazing athlete? I love watching the graceful and strong movements of an athletic dog like her in her prime.

Both halves of the Duo wish you a happy weekend!

The ghost of Colorado does too.

  1. I hope you have a great weekend, too! If we can just make it through one day of insane heat, we should be good to go for at least a few days. Shyla is definitely an amazing athlete, and I never get tired of seeing what she's up to!

  5. Good luck with the PT. I bet you know as well as anybody that PT is first a pain creator then a pain helper. So just get through the first part and enjoy the second.

    Cheers and hugs,

  6. Hope your weekend is full of hugs and nudges from the Fab Duo, I know I have that fact right.
Keep doing what makes you feel best, KB. I can't pretend to know what you are going through physically or mentally, but we all have "something" that holds on to us and won't let go. So if my "whatever" is anything close to your pain then I have slight inkling.

    Cheers to all

  9. Gosh she's so wee! Love her to pieces! Will email you soon. when I can. Just have some silly questions on building up your dog physically. I know you bike with them and I just was curious about metrics and stuff like that to help me gauge what my two may or may not be capable of.

  11. Hi friend, So sorry to hear about your pain-KB you are one courageous lady! Love your pups-they are so beautiful. We've had a momma mountain lion and two cubs down here in the flatlands. She apparently is held up in a cornfield and has already made off & killed a farmer's cat. Someone told me they didn't think that we had them down here. I'm not surprised.
    Have a great day.
