  6. I often wish Piper had grown up with a companion, but it never felt like the right time to introduce another dog. Or else, Piper indicated very strongly that SHE didn't feel it was the right time. I still second-guess the decision when I see pictures like this one, though!

  8. Aw, that is just sweet. BTW, we were wondering if Shyla and/or R would be interested in a post in our new administration. We were thinking about something like the Directors of nature Studies (or similar).     I saw that you had commented on my blog that you had hoped to get a senior dog, but life had other things in store for you. I have yet to have a dog live past 8 (Loki was 8 when he died and Gemi was 6), so I am hopeful it will happen some day!
