Black Dog Sunday
Just after sunset the other evening, I snapped a photo of R because the light looked so special on him. As it turns out, it was special. The photo that I took a minute later doesn't have the same shiny gloss to it.
I love the blue-black tones - what a fantastic image!!! I haven't been to your blog for a long time, and I just saw that you have a new blog header - that picture of Shyla is amazing and hilarious at the same time. She looks like she wants to take off - as in flying. Great shot!
Excellent image! and I am very familiar with the challenges of photographing black animals. Lots of my snaps look like one giant mass of black with three different sets of horns poking out at random places!

Sometimes you just get that perfect picture. In our case it is few and far between.
