With the flowers, the bees have been abundant. Somehow, I've managed to get stung by bees four times so far this summer. In one case, a bee landed on my lip as I rode my bike and stung me before I I could brush him off. Fortunately, I'm not allergic to bee stings but they do hurt.
I'm glad that the flowers and the bees are doing so well. Sometimes, it feels as if Shyla and I are navigating a jungle of flowers.
I love it!
Your flowers are so beautiful, the bees must be doing their job well. stella rose

ReplyDeleteIt must be so stunning seeing the wildflowers in such an abundance out in nature. Then Shyla makes the photo a masterpiece. :)

gorgeous flowers but i am thinking Shyla upstages them a little. i am afraid of bees and Jake chases them, he has been stung many times
ReplyDeleteSuch beauty! I especially love that last shot!

I like the yellow flowers up against your furs.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
You and Shyla sure are having a wonderful summer!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your beesting - ouch. My place has loads of bees this year, so I'm hoping they'll do as much pollinating of the vegetables as they are doing of the flowers. I've got bee balm and hyssop as tall as I am, and when I'm working right next to it every day I sometimes wonder if I'll get stung just by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Fingers crossed I won't - as you say, it hurts a lot.
Any sign of that little sad bear, KB?
Yes, we're loving the wildflowers too. Luckily no stings!
