Whenever we walk up to our sunset lookout point, a sky that looks like this makes me hurry! That cloud is so gorgeous!
My trusty model, Shyla, works for treats. I am an extravagant payer so she hops right up on Coyote Rock (this is a rock that I saw a group of coyotes standing on and surveying the meadow).
It was an amazing sky because the clear part was super blue.
As the cloud's color began to fade, Shyla picked up a scent in the wind.
The last photo before I invited Shyla down because the sunset light was fading...
My heart and spirit are so attuned to the natural world that just seeing a beautiful cloud like this can lift my mood sky high. This was in the midst of a very rough week so I was so grateful to have the time to enjoy the colors with the Labraduo! R serves as the director, barking out instructions to Shyla and me. I'm the photographer, and Shyla is the superstar model.
We all love our roles!
So very beautiful and Shyla is the perfect model.

You are lucky to have such a great super model to take advantage of such a spectacular background.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe contrast in colours is excellent. Lifted our spirts on a stormy winter day.
ReplyDeleteA super cast of three, and a backdrop that surpasses anything else in our world. Let your spirits fly as high as those gorgeous colours .
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning colors! You are a Supermodel, Shyla!
ReplyDeleteNature can be very healing for the spirit!
ReplyDeleteThe contrast of that gorgeous blue against the oranges ... then add Shyla ... just doesn't get any better than that!

I know what you mean about spirits lifting in nature. It can be something as minuscule as the tiniest leaf bud or as vast as the night sky - just stopping and breathing it in can flood me with joy and relief. Maybe not always relief from pain, but relief from the overwhelmingness of pain. And always, always the joy :)
ReplyDeleteAnd the results are phenomenal!!! We love that third shot with the beautiful blue next to that amazing cloud.
