Wintertime Flower Friday

Today, we lost the wonderful sunshine that made me smile the other day.

The world looked a lot grayer today. I bought Shyla a new collar which brightened up my photos a lot.

Today I was thankful for the Paperwhite bulbs that the Runner got me to help me through the long winter.
They are gorgeous flowers! Happy Flower Friday!

  1. Hari OM
they are, indeed, very beautiful! So is Shyla in her red collar. YAM xx

  2. Your collar is so bright and beautiful, Shyla, and so are those paperwhites!

  3. Those are so pretty! We went on a hike yesterday, and saw the first flowers of spring here. Such a nice burst of red in the desert.

  4. I guess you have the bulbs indoors. A little bit of bright in your grey day is wonderful, Shyla glows no matter what the day brings.

  5. two of those gorgeous flowers have smiley faces in them.

  6. They are very pretty. Mom forgot to buy flowers at the store the other day. Somehow, they seem better in the house in the winter than in the summer.

  7. What a beautiful bouquet! Saw a blooming geranium on someone's front porch a couple of days ago. With tomorrow's forecasted cold and storm I hope they take it indoors. Happy weekend.

  8. The runner is a keeper! Lovely flowers.
    Hugs madi and mom
PS Shyla I love your red collar

  9. Those flowers would brighten anyone's day. Of course seeing Shyla's joy of life could brighten your day too.

  10. What beautiful Paperwhites and Shyla's new collar looks wonderful!

  11. YOur flowers are so lovely - how sweet of The Runner:) That red collar looks great on beautiful Shyla. Have a nice weekend.

  13. How very sweet that the Runner gave you those special flowers!!
Shyla looks like she loves her new collar,, its so pretty on her!

  14. I recently came across the first lead I bought for Piper; before she was mine, in fact, when I was still waiting to hear if I would be the one selected from three who had applied to adopt her. The lead is fluorescent orange with a reflective stripe. I burst out laughing when I came upon it in one of the boxes I had the carpenter hand down from my has a knot tied in it where the newly-adopted Piper chewed right through when she wasn't wearing it and when I wasn't looking :)

  15. It has been so dreary here this week, we've hardly seen any sun at all. I could use some flowers to cheer me up too! Or maybe some pretty collars for the crew. :)
