Springtime in the Desert

We recently spent some time in my favorite springtime place - the desert! That meant that Hachi cavorted in the desert for the very first time.

At the start of our trip, he was very unsure of everything. But soon, he was acting like he was the Desert Prince.

There is no place that I’d rather be in the spring than in the desert. While heavy snowstorms of slushy snow are hitting at home, we watch bluebirds flit through campsites, listen to the buzz of hummingbirds, and watch flowers open. I miss it but spring will arrive in our neck of the woods before too long. I have been terribly remiss in commenting on your adventures. I thought that I’d keep up while we were away but it turned out to be impossible. I will be by to say hi very soon.
