Almost Wordless Wednesday: Real Life in the Mountains

On watch...

Those eyes were warily watching for another gust like this one.

When the wind subsides, the peace is an overwhelming gift.

  2. What an insightful allegory for life. We weather a storm, know peace will follow. But watching for the next gust or next storm life will bring.
    That is a very deep truth KB.
    Without the storms, would we appreciate the peace as much as we do?

  6. Is it camels that can "close" their noses against the wind? I've often thought what a useful skill that would be, especially in winter! Bet Shyla would agree with me ;)
