That mountain lion does look thin. Hope he/she bulks up for the winter. Those are some glorious shots. Shyla is showing her strength indeed. Snow zoomies are the best. I am looking forward to it. Have a joyful weekend.Blessings,Goose
Khyra is SO jealous. Snow AND a khytty in the same post!Shyla keeps getting more beautiful each day!
Shyla looks SO much healthier than when she came to you - even her coat looks richer! What a lucky girl to get to live in YOUR furever home!!BTW, I'm with Houndstooth. I'd buy a calendar of your photographs in a heartbeat. Just sayin'. The snow on the leaves in the different colors...wow.
Your leaves with snow, perfect!! And Shyla is so enjoying it all, down here in NZ ,in the far south, snow flurries and we are well into spring.Lambing is almost over, so all sheep farmers can be so thankful there was no huge fall like last year at the very start of lambing.Greetings from Jean
Oooo! The snow and brilliant leaf pictures! I'm begging you to make a calendar! Begging!I wished so hard for snow last year when Kuster was little, and we only had one or two snowfalls where there was anything on the ground. I was so disappointed! This year he'll probably knock me on my butt on a nearly daily basis.I have to ask! Is Shyla wearing a Cycle Dog collar? Every time I see their site, I think of you. I don't know anybody they're better suited for. Anyway, if it is, I'd love to know how you like it!
I'm so jealous! It was in the upper 80s todayNola
Now I am really torn. Like the moose in my area, I want your elk to be ok but I really want that mountain lion to have a little more meat on him/her. I guess I vote for nature to take care of itself and hunters to stay home. (I know, balance of nature and all that, but I really hate the hunting season)Shyla looks so incredibly happy. I was comparing a picture of her when she first arrived and those in yesterdays photos. unbeleiveable difference. Yeah Shyla.....
Oh this is Shyla's first snow- isn't it?! I can see why she would be so excited! The photos of the leaves with the snow is so beautiful. I cannot even imagine having a camera that can capture such beauty! We happy the big kitties are there for you to take photos of too- because you always share with us- what you see.Yes, Shyla- you are getting so many muscles! Your mountains have been talking to you and you have been growing!lovetweedles
I just love when the first pristine snow meets the blazing refuse to surrender colors of autumn! Simply incredible! And Shyla is just about to discover Nirvana!
Snow zoomies! Happens every year at the first fall of snow. As usual your pictures are stunning.Cindy
The snow on those autumn colours is just amazing! Here's hoping the mountain lion finds himself a good meal...
The snow looks beautiful on the autumn leaves and the photos of Shyla are just gorgeous!Love ya lots,Mitch and Molly

Shyla IS getting more beautiful each day, its a joy to see her blossoming! We have had a little no-stick snow but not our big one yet. I'd like a few more Indian Summer days first.I'd buy a calendar too.Jo
What a wonder that first snow must be to a dog! Snow zoomies indeed. I'm pulling for that lion to find some prey soon. Great photographs.
Nothing better than zoomies in the snow, except zoomies on the beach :) Your girl is really coming into her own. You can tell she loves the mountain adventures. Beautiful photos and like the others, I hope the ML finds a good meal soon.
We is lookin' foward to our first snow zoomies of da season, mom not so much. ;)Woofs and Licks,Maggie Mae and Max
Oh you have snow already? But that must be early...the leaves are still on the trees. Great pictures of Shyla.Yes the mountin lion look awful thin....maybe cant make it to spring
Oh too cold - we are luck this week, our weather has dropped to 95!Sam
Oh I am so jealous! I can't wait for the snow! Shyla sure is looking like a natural in her surroundings now. I bet she loved the snow. That poor mountain lion looks awfully thin. I hope it finds a good meal soon. Have a wonderful weekend! :)
Hi KB, this is why we love blogville cause we get to see so many beautiful photos and places. Here we are starting Spring and you are enjoying Autumn. It's great isn't it! Take care all. No worries, and love, Carol (and Stella and Rory
Wow that cat look skinny... I hope he bulks up before it gets too cold.
Hi KB. I love the term "zoomies"! Horses get it, too, in the colder weather. They love to rear and buck and run along plowing the snow with their noses. You have some fabulous photos here, and you're right - that mountain lion does look very hungry!
Hi KB, You have such an amazing attitude towards the snow and being out in it. Just this morning, I had training with Hunter and I didn't have my winter coat on or gloves and I was freezing-you have so much more snow than we do. Glad you embraced it! Hugs to you and yours.Noreen
Shyla really looks happy in the snow! She's going to be a real snow-bunny! She also looks so grown up in that picture.
I enjoy looking at your pictures every day, Shyla is gorgeous and I'm so glad she is bringing you happiness and offering good company. Thank you for sharing!
Hi Y'all,Shyla is really developing into a mature lady.Y'all come by now,Hawk aka BrownDog
Yet another fabulous portrait of Shyla with the golden leaves! I wished I didn't have to work that day; the snow on what remains of the flowers and leaves was so hard to leave behind and head for the city. I could have immortalized them with my camera!!!
